Quality polyamide cable glands for the fastening and protection of cables Polyamide cable glands are used to relieve cable strain and tightness in junction boxes and to ensure secure hold of the cables. Glands also protect cables from wear and tear that may occur. Connecting threads are metric with long thread. Cable glands are screwed into the housing wall threads. In housings without a thread cable glands are tightened with a suitable locknut. Available colors light gray RAL 7035 or black RAL 9005. Temperature range in use -20 °C to +100 °C, protection grade IP 68 - 5 bar.
